Welcome to the Southern Indiana Rifle & Pistol Association web site.
This is a view taken from the 500 yard firing line near the railroad tracks. Directly in front, in the near field, you will see the 300 yard firing line berm, and on the main range the 200 yard firing point is visible just to the left of the small covered bench. Right of center of the photo is our privy, and farther to the right is the covered Pistol and Smallbore Rifle range. Just a bit farther to the right is the Target Shed.
Our property runs from the mowed line just left of the two-track trail left of the target area and to the tree line on the right side. It extends up and over the hill beyond the impact area as well.
We hope to have you as a guest at an upcoming match or as a member.
We are proud of our members and their continued dedication to the sporting aspects of shooting, as well as the serious nature of the beast. Our members, Mark Mann and Bill Balda are members of a select team of instructors that have been engaged by the Civilian Marksmanship Program to conduct U.S. Army Squad Designated Marksman Instructor Courses for the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit. For further details, take a look here. Thanks Mark and Bill!!
Also, we have a link below to the Tri-State Gun Shows Schedule. Our President, Don Copple, and his wife, Terry, sets up and runs our Southern Indiana Rifle & Pistol Club display table at these and other shows in the area. Any member is welcome to come to the shows and visit the display table as well as bring something to sell or trade. Plan to spend a few minutes working the table and offer your experiences to prospective members and show them that we are not just a bunch of folks with guns. We have a really fun sport and welcome any responsible applicants to join our group.
